My Story
Angela is always full of hope for the future. She isn't aware of herself is different from other kids. She wants to be a make-up artist when she grows up. She likes painting and movement.

Angela was 5 years old when she was diagnosed with SIOD. We felt helpless and hopeless. We were not sure how to face the future of her disease.

The medical complications Angela faces are: intrauterine growth retardation, short stature, ovoid flat vertebrae, abnormal femoral heads, renal failure, t-cell deficiency, corneal opacities, strokes, development delay, and catarrhal dysentery. We are preparing for a bone marrow transplantation to rebuild the immune system.
