Our Superheroes.

“A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” - Christopher Reeve

All of these children have been diagnosed with SIOD.  Some of them unfortunately aren't with us anymore. You can read all of their stories at the links below. These are just a few of the children we know about. Not all families are comfortable with sharing their child's diagnosis publicly and we fully understand. We hope reading from other families will help you in your journey.

If you have a child with SIOD and would like to be added to this page, please complete this form.
