Rodney Howard

Rodney Howard is a graduate of The University of North Alabama with a BS in Economics and Finance. He is also a graduate of The School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University. Rodney was the founding Director and Executive Office of First Metro Bank in Muscle Shoals, AL in 1988. He has been President and CEO of first Metro Bank since 1992. He was appointed to the Board of Trustees in 2008 by Governor Bob Riley. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Muscle Shoals Electric Board and serve on the Colbert County Industrial Development Board. He is a founder of the Muscle Shoals City Schools Education Foundation; a member of the UNA Sportsman Club; and serves on the Personnel committee of the Colbert Lauderdale Baptist Association.

Lori McGuire

Lori has her Master’s degree in education from the University of North Alabama. She taught special education and kindergarten in Muscle Shoals City Schools. She has been an early childhood specialist with the UNA AMSTI program within the Alabama State Department of Education since 2003. Lori is on the Parent Advisory Committee with Muscle Shoals High School, a Muscle Shoals Athletic Booster and recipient of the 2017 Muscle Shoals High School DOT Day Award. She and her husband Greg have three children. She assists her daughter in Clay’s Crew, an organization within The University of Alabama named after her youngest son, that ministers to families of children overcoming traumatic injury or illness. She is a community group leader and drama director in the creative arts ministry at Highland Park Baptist Church and volunteers with Room In The Inn of the Shoals.

Courtney Thompson

Courtney Thompson is the co-owner of Nellie Mae Boutique located in downtown Tuscumbia, Alabama. Prior to opening Nellie Mae Boutique, Courtney was the Human Resources Coordinator at Helen Keller Hospital in Tuscumbia. She earned her BS in Human Resource Management and MBA from the University of North Alabama. Mrs. Thompson is actively involved in community affairs and in the revitalization efforts for downtown Tuscumbia.

Joe Keenum

Bobby Joe Keenum is a graduate of Colbert County High School. He is the founding President and CEO of Joe Keenum Excavation and Construction Co Inc. since 1977. He is also the founding President of M K Materials, LLC since 2009. Between the two corporations, Mr. Keenum employees approximately 80 local individuals. He has been serving on the Lauderdale County Salvation Army Board since 2010. He is also an active member of Faith Church, where he serves in the capacity of an Usher.

Regina Clark

Regina Clark is a native of Colbert County Alabama and attended the University of North Alabama. She worked as a secretary at Walker Waddell Realty and served ten years Champion Paper Mill. She became a Licensed Realtor in 1989 and works as a full time sales agent at Regina Coates Real Estate.

Dr. Patrick Wilson

Dr. Patrick Wilson, born Patrick Roger Wilson in Jasper, AL, is a dentist and owner of Wilson Dental Inc. He is a 2007 graduate of the University of North Alabama where he played football for the Lions. Dr Wilson graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2013 and the Veterans Affairs Hospital residency in Denver, Colorado in 2014 before returning to the Shoals to begin his dental practice.

Jenna Smith

Jenna is a native of Tuscumbia, Alabama and a graduate of Deshler High School. After high school, she went on to college at UNA and then obtained her Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law in 2008. She was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in September 2008. Jenna opened her private firm in December 2008.
John is a graduate of Cherokee High School. After high school, John joined and completed the IBEW's apprenticeship program. After working as an electrician for over 15 years, he decided to go to school to become an attorney. John graduated from UNA in 2018 and went on to attend Birmingham School of Law. John was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in September 2022.
John and Jenna have two daughters. Kennedi is 9, and Mac is 3.

Dr. Denise Woods

Denise Woods earned a doctorate in educational leadership from Samford University. She retired from Muscle Shoals City Schools in 2022 after serving in several leadership roles, including six years as assistant superintendent of the district. She currently serves as the director of the Muscle Shoals Early Learning Center, which houses PreK students in the Muscle Shoals district. She also serves students at the University of North Alabama as an adjunct professor in secondary education. Dr. Woods is an active member of the Colbert County Children's Policy Council Executive Board, on which she serves as secretary. She is also a member of The University of Alabama National Alumni Association. She is an active member of Highland Park Baptist Church where she enjoys being part of the worship ministry. Dr. Woods and her husband, Brian, have been married for 32 years. They are proud parents to adult children, Seth (29) and Emily (26).

Heather Wright

Heather is a graduate of Auburn University with a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Mrs. Wright finished her MBA from the University of North Alabama. She has over sixteen years of finance and capital markets experience; having been involved extensively in market feasibility research, financial modeling, capital raises, and incentive packaging. To date, her commercial projects and capital raises have spanned over $50 Billion in executed transactions. Mrs. Wright’s career has included executive roles in multiple business, as well as, financial roles with Wells Fargo and other financial institutions. She currently sits on multiple executive boards and is the Regional Manager of the Alabama SBDC.

Brandi McGuyer

Brandi is married to Carter McGuyer, and mom to Zoie McGuyer. She is the Vice President of Client Relations and Operations of Carter McGuyer Design Group, Inc. She has recently also become National Sales Manager for Microplane (the BEST kitchen grater company in the land she proclaims :))

She has served as National Sales Manager for Kitchenart, Inc., and she is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Greypoint Furnishings and Model Citizen Pet. She brings extensive experience in marketing and operations to the table and we are thrilled to have her on the team!

Things you may not know about Brandi - she played volleyball on a full scholarship at the University of North Alabama, she is a breast cancer survivor, and she loves to travel! But the most important things about her is that she adores her 2 puppies and thinks her husband hung the moon and her daughter created the stars.

Rebecca Keene is a native of the Shoals area. She owns Keene Law Firm in Florence, AL, that specializes in real estate law, title insurance, estate planning, and probate.
